Key Features and Specifications

• Required Devices: An AQARA Hub is required and sold separately. Not compatible with hubs from other brands. Secure 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network is required for Hubs M2/M1S/E1/M1S Gen2 and Camera Hubs G2H Pro/G2H. 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi is needed for Camera Hub G3. Wired connection via Ethernet RJ45 is supported for Hub M2. To link the Aqara Temperature and Humidity Sensor with HomeKit or enable Alexa skills, an Aqara Hub is necessary.

Proximity and Setup

• Sturdy Connection: For optimal performance, ensure the Aqara Temperature and Humidity Sensor is within a range of 400 inches of the Aqara Zigbee hub. The hub should be within the same range as your Wi-Fi router. Ensure both the hub and router are on the same local area network (LAN).

Remote Monitoring and Home Automation

• Push Alerts and Night Light: When room temperature exceeds or falls below specific thresholds, the sensor will send push alerts to your phone or trigger the Aqara Hub night light.
• Smart Control: You can control other Aqara devices like Smart Plugs to maintain a comfortable environment for you and your family. This includes managing fans or humidifiers to ensure consistency.

Accurate Measurement

• High-Quality Sensors: Utilizes industry-leading sensors from Sensirion. Avoid installing in extreme temperature environments such as refrigerators.
• Battery Management: Before long-pressing the reset button, pull out the plastic battery tab. If the device disconnects, ensure the battery has power. Replace the battery if necessary by removing the temperature sensor and rotating it to access the battery cover.
